Rootconf is an annual conference on DevOps and scaling IT infrastructure. Rootconf is aimed at systems administrators, DevOps, CTOs and companies that are trying to achieve web scale. The theme of this year's edition is scaling infrastructure for growth. Key topics include cloud and orchestrations, infrastructure automation, team management, and upcoming technologies such as SaltStack.

The conference features a number of prominent speakers including Mike Place – senior Platform Developer on the core engineering team at SaltStack, Abhishek Kona – engineer in the backend team at Parse.com, a Facebook.com company, among others.
