PROFESSIONAL HANDS-ON TRAINING by SWATI VERMA

Welcome to the Swati Verma Academy Program! 

I personally designed this curriculum and layout for beginners/ new artists and existing professional makeup artists looking forward to improve their skills and earn all the benefits of being Certified by ‘SWATI VERMA’

There will be no more than 18-20 students (or less) at a time to ensure focused learning and individualized attention in seven days. Plus hands-on practice before earning the Swati Verma Academy Certification.

7 DAYS INTENSIVE TRAINING 

(open to beginners to experienced artists/stylists)

FEES: 80,000 INR (including all fees)

7 CONSECUTIVE DAYS  

Please note that there are two course timings: -8am-12pm (Morning batch) -2pm-19pm (Evening batch)

(class duration is approximately 4 hours per day depending on how long it takes to complete curriculum) 

Complete hands-on training on:

DAY 1: 

•   Introduction to Skin Care
•   Understanding skin types/ textures and issues
•   Cleansing,Toning & Skin Preparation
•   Getting to grips with the tools of the trade
•   Product and tool knowledge (For face)
•   Tool Sanitization & Hygeine 
• The Foundations: bases, colours, application and blending
• Colour Correction 
• Concealer Application
• Pores, Acne & Spot Correction 
• Blending with different Tools 

(1 Hour Practise on one another in Swati’s Supervision)

DAY 2:

• Eyebrow Design
• Eyebrow Highlights
• Eye Primers
• Long lasting Matte eyes shadows
• Smokey Eyes
• Blending shadows (2-3-4 Shades at a time)
• Eyeliner (Liquid/Gel)
• Eyeliner – basic and winged and glitter
• Mascara Application
• Lash Application-Glue 

(1 Hour Practise on one another in Swati’s Supervision)

DAY 3:

• Glitter Application on Eyes (types, how to apply and make it last)
• Classic bridal eyes
• Intense Smoky eyes with Glitters
• Cut crease Eye Makeup
• Hallow Smokey Eyes with Winged Liner & Glitter Liner

(1 Hour Practise on one another in Swati’s Supervision

DAY 4:

 - Revision of DAY 1 

( BASE, COLOUR CORRECTION & CONCEALER APPLICATION)

• Contour techniques- Cream & Powder
• Liquid and Dry Blush Application
• liquid Highlighter Application
• Dry/Powdered Highlighter Application
• Strobing 
• Camouflaging 
• Lustrous Lips: priming and conditioning, defining shapes and outlines & maintenance

Also included on the same day:

1 High Definition Mehendi/ Day Party look ( Can be customised for any DAY/AFTERNOON OCCASION using pastel colours on eyes).

(1 Hour Practise on one another in Swati’s Supervision)

DAY 5:

1. High Definition GLAMOROUS LOOK (which can be done for occasions like Cocktail/ Sangeet/ Reception)
2. High Definition Bridal Makeup (My Signature Style, with Soft Smokey glittery eyes with No liner & Winged Liner on eyes)

(Students will be able to practise at the same time during the 2 looks)

DAY 6:

1. The perfect finishing tool that will take you to the next level and leave your clients asking for more.
2. Basic Introduction to AIRBRUSH
3. Skin Preparation before Airbrush
4. Colour Correction & Concealing before AIRBRUSH BASE
5. AIRBRUSH APPLICATION

• Base
• Contour Techniques
• Blush Application
• Highlighter Application
• Setting the Makeup & making it Water Resistant. 
• Discounted rates to buy the IWATTA Airbrush gun

(1 Hour Practise on one another in Swati’s Supervision)

DAY 7:

1. Professional advice and guidance to grow in the industry.
2. How to manage your business as a self-employed makeup artist. 
3. Tips on starting your freelance career
4. 1 COMPLETE LOOK creation by the student on their respective MODELS
5. SWATI VERMA ACADMEY Certification 

(PS. Students have to arrange their own models for the FINAL DAY)

• How to Increase your following on Instagram -How to post clear crisp pictures 
  
• Apps to edit pictures/selfies -How to take good selfies 
  
• What type of lighting to use -How to pose  -What camera and equipment I use to record and take pictures with.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING WITH YOU 

• Your makeup kit including brushes/ Tools  ( A mandatory list of makeup products will be provided to the students on ENROLMENT on their respective email ids) 
•   We will provide you with a notebook & pen to write your everyday notes.
•  A good quality Camera (Iphone or any other smartphone works too)
•  First 5 days of the course; students can practise the new techniques either on; (Each other (other attendees)/ Themselves OR you can bring a model to practise)
•  Confidence and an Open Mind!
