Designing for Humans, not Users - exploring an empirical model

Design Coach

Srinivas Chinta - CEO & Chief Designer, Prabal Design

Why you should attend

Beyond tangible expectations, there are a lot of emotions that influence people while they use a product. An honest identification of such expectations and emotions enable us to design products that people love to engage with. Through this workshop, we shall explore various ways of identifying these emotions that play a major part within the given context of usage. We would look at the aspect of differentiating a user from a human - an individual with aspirations and emotions. And not just that, we shall explore an empirical model.

Who should attend the workshop

Design Practitioners and Innovators

Key Takeaways

  • How to ensure that we capture the real needs and issues within the available scope.
  • Making use of small incremental design progression without diluting the overall value
