IEEE-IISc student branch is organizing a workshop on programming with python language. Please avail this opportunity and have an edifying experience with learning python. 

When: 19th and 20th August 2016 

Where: Golden Jubilee Hall,ECE dept, IISc 

Timings: 9am-6pm

Lunch/Beverages/Snacks are offered.

The discounted costs associated with the workshops are as follows:

1000 - For student who is an IEEE member

1500 - For student who is not an IEEE member

2000 - For IEEE member(who is not a student)

2500 - For non-IEEE member(who is not a student)

Annapoornima Koppad

Annapoornima Koppad – is the founder of Pyladies Bangalore and currently serves as one of the eleven directors of Python Software Foundation.

Sumit Raj

Sumit Raj – is working as Principal Consultant with LodgIQ, LCC. He has been mentoring students/developers for Python programming across the globe and has built multiple scalable applications using Python.

Nithish Divakar

Nithish Divakar is currently a PhD student at Video Analytics Lab. He graduated with a masters degree in Computational Science from CDS, IISc in 2015. Since then he has been working on deep learning at VAL. His Interests include Density Estimation, Optimization theory and Machine Learning.

Jaley Dholakiya

Jaley is alumni of Video Analytics Lab, CDS at IISc and has extensively worked on Deep Learning applications. He is one of the core founding member of Expresso, a tool for Deep Learning. He has worked on spark and hadoop for predictive modeling and temporal aspects of recommender systems during his stay at Vizury, which is an ad re-targeting company. He had recently given a talk on Expresso at Fifth Elephant's Deep Learning conference.

Arthi 

Arthi S is presently a Phd Student in ECE. She is interested in signal processing aspects of speech/music, auditory modeling and perception of auditory signals.
