This meet up, hosted by ATEA-SV, will de-mystify some of the hottest topics today: Data Science, Machine Learning and AI. You will have the opportunity to not just understand which application areas this is being used, but also dive into it and see it getting built!

In addition to the talks, there will be a panel which will explore these topics, who is getting funded and where the opportunities are.

The speakers include Dr. Ravi Chityala, Sr. Engineer, Electa. Ravi has conducted Tensorflow workshops at major conferences; Madhu Iyer, Chief Data Officer, EthosLending - a Khosla Ventures backed Startup and Malaikannan Sankarasubbu, VP of AI Research, Saama Technologies - focused on getting drugs/medicines to market faster.

You will get to understand the inner workings of the technology and also how the technology is being used in real life applications. The talks will be followed by a panel that features Rajesh Swaminathan from AMAT Ventures; Prof. Ram Akella of UCSC who is currently researching Machine Learning, Data and Text Mining; Gavenraj Sodhi, CEO of 7 Senses who is driving the convergence of AI and Education through Robots.
