BioDiscovery Group, India is the first to launch online training for Foreign & Indian participants worldwide and doing it since 2010. We are the first to launch workshop and training course (Online & Onsite) on CRISPR/Cas 9 in May 2017 and since then did it successfully several times.
Online sessions will be conducted everyday from 9-11 PM IST (India Standard Time- UTC +5:30) & GMT+2. So participants can register and opt for any one timings out of two.
This course is designed to make you will learn in a better way as you will perform the tasks on your own computer systems. The eWorkshop includes lectures and hands-on training on concepts, applications, and software tools for this latest technology.
Genome editing is a technique used to precisely and efficiently modify DNA within a cell.It involves making cuts at specific DNA sequences with enzymes called ‘engineered nucleases’. Genome editing can be used to add, remove, or alter DNA in the genome by editing the genome, the characteristics of a cell. The CRISPR/Cas9 technique is derived from a naturally occurring defense mechanism used by bacteria to defend themselves from viral infections and plasmids, by providing a type of acquired immunity for the bacteria. Application of CRISPR could be used to edit the genome of any organism or DNA in cells of an organisms to understand their biology for research field. It could also potentially be used to treat other infections and simple genetic conditions.
