Synopsis: 

Srijato Bandyopadhayay's novel 'Taarabhora Akasher Neechey' in spite of being a complicated piece of work, gave us enough 'Space' to explore the language of Theatre. This beautifully written novel questioned and explored the concepts of Sanity and Insanity. People with a high level of sensitivity may exhibit a diversity that is misunderstood by Culture. Here, Van Gogh plays a vital role but this play doesn’t celebrate the genius of the painter, rather it deals with our deep-rooted insecurities and fear. We are deeply influenced by the book 'Culture of Fear', written by 'Frank Furedi', who predicts that until society finds a more positive orientation towards uncertainty, the Politicisation of fear will flourish. This 'Politics' of fear infiltrates in various ways into our lives, our understanding about 'Sanity and Insanity', 'Imagination and Hallucination', and at the end of this – quite obviously 'Sane' overpowers the 'Insane'. But one cannot overlook the music beneath this struggle, the deep meditation on the nature and essence of Creativity, an unending Saga, and eternal battle, questioning
