After 1947, Lachhman’s son Nawal also joins a factory as a worker. He dreams of a better world where the proletariat will have the power. He gets involved in Left politics and rises higher and higher and finally gets selected as a member of the parliament. At the height of popularity and fame, he realizes that his values changed drastically. Today he has money, power and fame but deep inside he is deserted, scared.
