Synopsis: On the very first night of their marriage, Padmapriya’s husband Bhubaneswar finds a white spot on her back, assumes it to be a symptom of a very serious disease and sends her back to her parental house. Padmapriya nearly confined herself in her room. In due course, she rediscovered herself with the help of her friend Labanya. One day, while roaming in the jungle, Padmapriya meets Shambhudeo, the priest who has so far sacrificed three thousand animals at Kamakhya Temple. Though she doesn’t support the practice of sacrificing animals in the temple, abandoned by her husband—Padmapriya rediscovers the essence of life in the company of Shambhudeo. Bhubaneswar married a second wife with the expectation of becoming a father, but he couldn’t succeed; hence he comes back to Pradmapriya again. In the meantime, Padmapriya conceives a baby which Bhubanaswar publicly claims as his own. He even wants to take Padmapriya home aback. But to his utmost surprise Padmapriya boldly declares that the actual father of her baby is not her husband Bhubaneswar, but Shambhudeo, the priest who sacrifices animals at Kamakhya Temple.
